Facial Recognition and Privacy
Thanks to Ms Cho Yeung for her dedication to her Masters of Journalism, completed at Cardiff University in the UK, and for allowing me to upload this package onto my web site. I was one of about a half dozen full length comprehensive interviews. This 20 min package has been expertly put together with some cutting edge commentary that should be heard by anyone working in the field of facial recognition and privacy. Cho showed flair in her targetted questions, which got to the heart of the challenges and opportunities for this type of biometric. She also spoke with lawyers, citizens, designers, developers and resellers of the technology to better understand how the technology works and its impacts on every day people. Great work Cho!
