Google Maps' pizza shop mix-up leaves Darwin man with unwanted 'customer's
"Professor Katina Michael from the School of Computing and Information Technology at the University of Wollongong said errors with mapping services were more common than most people realised and they had real-life consequences.
"We have had people negate the signs that are there saying do not enter and people have run onto runways," Ms Michael said.
"People have gone down boat ramps. People have gone into walking tracks with their vans and gotten stuck and airlifted out."
