Joseph Carvalko a patent attorney, electrical engineer, and adjunct professor of Quinniapac University speaks with Katina Michael about his fiction piece titled: "Crossing the Evolutionary Gap". Joseph is a biomedical device recipient and has written a short story set in 2056 where the requirement for implants is almost mandatory given environmental impacts. His creative writing will appear in the March 2017 issue of IEEE Technology and Society Magazine guest edited by Ramona Pringle, Katina Michael and MG Michael.
