Cooper Lees completed several subjects under my supervision and that of MG Michael. The subjects covered citizen rights (including Privacy) and ethics, and security and risk fundamentals. He was a committed student, deep thinker, and always asked challenging questions.
2005 was an amazing year-- I was blessed with 9 honours research students. I remember vividly dedicating 45 minutes to each student back-to-back with a half hour break in the middle of the day. I treasure the times I spent with this amazing group of young and talented individuals- what a special bond we all formed. What a proud moment it was for me at the TradeShow to see you all present your Posters to the judges.
The projects spanned from broadband access in rural Australia, ethical issues in the application of GPS for monitoring and tracking applications, NLIS RFID implants in dairy farms in Southern NSW, hierarchical positioning systems, adoption of RFID implants in humans, ebusiness platform- a comparative analysis, and the use of GIS in a telecommunications operator.
