Why did Disney World/Land spend over $1 BILLION on a new RFID wearable tracking device - the "Magic Wristband"? Disney World's annual revenue is 12.9 billion dollars with 1.2 million admissions in 2013. Consider that Disney World introduced a biometric reader as far back as 1996 with an upgrade in 2006. RFID is well-known for being one of the most insecure devices but it can be used to track at exit/entry gantries. Families are willingly giving them over to private company surveillance. People are more caught up with ordering the RIGHT colours for their wristbands than the data the wristband collects. This interviews goes some way in describing the auto-ID technological trajectory. Katina and Katherine discuss the evolution of automatic identification and its implications in other areas of our lives. From luggables to wearables and now it appears implantables. How do these developments relate to Christian prophecy?
