Rebecca Ricks is a master’s candidate at the Tisch School of the Arts’ Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) at New York University. She speaks with Katina Michael on her latest paper titled: "Mediating the Body: Wearable Tech and Disembodied Reality". Mario Neururer is presently researching on "Authentic Behavior of Autonomous Conversational Agents". He is specifically looking at how social intelligence can be incorporated into artificial intelligence. We spoke on socio-ethical implications of these technologies and how they could be used in very positive and very negative ways. The guts of the questioning was: "Can AI ever be authentic?"
